Eternal Security - Holding On? Or Eternally Held?
Many people are not sure whether a saved person can be lost again or whether once saved they are eternally saved. And as long as one is unsettled on this very important truth, doubts and fears are bound to hinder that soul's peace and happiness.
In place of truth, man's enemy, Satan, presents wrong teachings, doubts, and reasonings. In the garden of Eden he raised doubts, saying, "Yea, hath God said?" Gen. 3:1. The Holy Spirit encourages simple faith - a prayerful and simple belief in the Word of God.

And immediately Jesus stretched forth His hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?" Matt. 14:29-31.
