At the beginning of the book, there is a Gentile king and a Gentile queen.
The Queen was disobedient to the King and forfeited her throne. She was succeeded by a Jewish girl who pleased the King. Haman, the enemy of the Jews, is put to death and his arch enemy, Mordecai the Jew is given a place of honor in the kingdom.
The book confirms that God is in control and although His name is not mentioned, He worked behind the scenes to protect and deliver His people.
