Most Christians are so used to a clergy-laity arrangement in their churches that they are amazed or even angered when this arrangement is questioned. It seems so right for there to be a pastor, a minister, or a reverend who takes charge of a church. It seems to work so well, but does that prove it to be right?
Although originally written over 100 years ago, things are no better today.

Mr. F.W. Grant was born in London, England, in 1834. He passed into the presence of the Lord he served in 1902 on his 68th birthday.
