Galatians takes up the false teaching of keeping the Law of Moses for salvation. Paul strongly repudiates this: the Law has nothing to do with salvation or Christian living after salvation.

Ephesians has some of the most elevated, profound truth found in the Bible. Many Christian blessings are enumerated. They are spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ, as opposed to things like earthly prosperity and perfect health. We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus. God's counsels concerning His Church are seen especially in chapter 3.

Philippians has a shepherd-character from a lonely, imprisoned apostle who deeply loved the Philippian brethren and they, him. Paul had learned to be content. Christ's great humiliation and exaltation are seen. Christ meant everything to Paul and He should to us too.

Colossians considers the believer as having died, been raised with Christ and walking through this world in the power of resurrection life. The wonders of Christ from Creator of all things to Head of His Church are seen that He might have the preeminence in all things. Leslie Grant has been serving the Lord for over 65 years. He has written a number of Bible commentaries.
