Nicolaitanism & The Step I have taken
Most Christians are so used to a clergy-laity arrangement in their churches that they are amazed or even angered when this arrangement is questioned. It seems so right for there to be a pastor, a minister, or a reverend who takes charge of a church. It seems to work so well, but does that prove it to be right?
The Step I Have Taken are real letters, only edited for clarity. They form an autobiography of several years of Mr. Dennett's life, during which time he learned a lesson that we all would do well to learn early in our Christian lives-that honest, sincere Christians can be wrong, but God can and will reveal His mind to all who honestly seek it from Him.
