In the Church of the Living God

When a general wins an important battle people love to cheer and some give him gifts.
But when Christ freed us from the captivity of sin, He gave gifts to each of us! (Eph. 4:8)
The most important of these is the gift of salvation and the right to call upon the name of the Lord.
But there are also special gifts given to the Church to equip us for the work of the ministry He has called us to do.
These gifts aren't for our own benefit or because we are special. When each one does his part, these gifts work together to bring us all to the unity of the one faith once delivered to the saints.
